Working with no worries

Hira is an only child. Hira’s parents have been living in Dhaka for about 11 years. At the beginning of their marriage Hira’s father did his job properly. During this time he used to care for the entire family with the revenue he made as a rickshaw driver. Before Hira’s birth, Hira’s mother went to her grandmother’s house for delivery. In the absence of his wife Hira’s father became irregular in his professional responsibilities. For this reason Hira’s mother spent nearly two years in the Hira’s grandparents house. When Hira was two years old, her father rented a new house and took his wife and daughter to live there. However it would now be difficult for her father to earn a living for all three of them on his wage alone. For that reason, Hira’s mother began searching for a job, but she could not secure work with her child in tow.  Hira’s mother came to know about the Day Care service available from her neighbors. Hira’s parents visited the Day Care centre and were pleased with the facilities. Subsequently, they decided to enroll their child there. Now Hira’s mother can safely leave her child and go to work without any hesitation. At present they are very happy to be sending their child to the Day care center and both parents are working hard to improve their socio economic situation.
